Anni Haapaniemi is at home in a symphony orchestra or in a periodical/contemporary music ensemble. In 2004 she started as the principal oboist in the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra and joined Uusinta. From 2009 she has been working in the Tapiola Sinfonietta. Anni Haapaniemi says that she enjoys exploring new music in the hilarious company of the members of the Uusinta Chamber Ensemble.
