MARKUS FAGERUDD
(b. 1961)
Markus Fagerudd is the composer-in-residence with the Vaasa City Orchestra, and has had a similar position with the Lappeenranta City Orchestra. He has written a few operas, commissioned by the Finnish National Opera and Savonlinna Opera Festival, and numerous chamber music works. He has also written a lot of original stage music for theatre.
